These terms govern your use of Pin Reef(“the service”, “we”, “us”) and the digital products we sell. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. What we sell
We sell curated collections of point-of-interest data for cities, delivered as downloadable files (KMZ and CSV). Each purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data for your own personal or professional reference. You may import the files into Google My Maps, Google Earth, OsmAnd, or equivalent personal mapping tools.
What’s not allowed
- Re-selling the files or a substantial portion of their contents.
- Redistributing the files publicly, including on file-sharing sites.
- Stripping or obscuring the source-data attribution inside the files.
2. Ordering and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless indicated otherwise at checkout. Payment is handled by third-party providers (Stripe, Malum). Your card or wallet details are never stored on our servers.
3. Delivery
After successful payment you are redirected to a download page containing pre-signed links valid for seven (7) days. A copy of the links is also sent by email. The underlying files remain available at the same address for repeat downloads during that window.
4. Refunds
Because our products are digital goods delivered immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable. The one exception is a duplicate charge for the same product, which we will always refund — see our refund policy for details.
5. Accuracy
We take care to curate each pack, but we cannot guarantee that every place listed is currently operating, or that any particular place will match your expectations. The data is provided on an “as is” basis and is intended as inspiration, not as a professional guide.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question during the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed appointments, loss of profits, or loss of data.
7. Third-party data
The place data underlying our collections is sourced from the Overture Maps Foundation under the CDLA-Permissive-2.0 licence. Attribution is preserved in the files and on our credits page. You agree to retain the attribution when sharing the files with close friends or family for personal use.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the most recent change. Substantial changes will be announced by email to customers of record where possible.
